Hazel Buck

Hazel Buck, 101, a resident of Fairhope, AL passed away peacefully March 2, 2015. She was born in Jackson, MS on August 19, 1913 to Rivers and Jenny Harrison. Hazel was an only child and attended high school in Jackson before graduating from Ole Miss. She served as national president of Tri-Delta sorority for many years after college. She was a longtime resident of Gulfport, before moving to Fairhope, she was very active in both cities serving on several boards before her health declined.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: Luther Curry, Wayne Johnson, Bob Portwood and Randolph Buck.
She is survived by first cousin Jane Newman DeWitt of Ridgeland, MS as well as several second cousins.
