Harvey Samuel "Sam" Stanley, IV

Harvey Samuel ""Sam"" Stanley, IV, age 28, passed away on April 19, 2014 in New York, NY.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lynn Havens.
Sam is survived by his father, Harvey Samuel ""Trey"" Stanley, III of Fort Walton Beach, FL; his mother, Pamela Havens Stanley of New York, NY; maternal grandmother, Wilma Havens of Gulfport, MS; paternal grandparents, H.S. ""Duffy"" Stanley, Jr and Vegi Stanley of Gulfport; siblings, Jayme Stanley of New York, NY and Jessica Stanley (Joel) Ross of Washington, DC; a nephew, Thomas ""Buddy"" Ross; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A native of the Gulf Coast, Sam graduated from Gulfport High School and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He recently resided in New York City, and moved to Washington, DC to pursue a career in real estate appraisal.
Sam was an avid sports enthusiast, especially the NFL. He shared a passion of cooking and watching the New Orleans Saints with his father. He also had a great love for boating and fishing with his friends and family. No matter where Sam traveled, his heart remained on the waters of the bayou.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, Gulfport. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
