Harry J. Rager, 91 of Bay St Louis, MS passed away on August 21, 2023.  He was born on January 28, 1932 in Johnstown, PA.  He is preceded in death by his Wife, Joan E. Rager; sons, Timothy Rager, Matthew Rager, and Patrick Rager.

Harry was raised in Johnstown, PA and after graduation he joined the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran.  Harry was a very hospitable and giving individual.  He helped build and was an Honorary Fire Chief with the Bayside Volunteer Fire Department.  Harry was always involved in the community not only here on the Gulf Coast but in Maryland as well.  He helped with the rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina, and helped with getting fire equipment for the Department.  Harry worked for many years for the Architect of the Capital in Washington, DC where he retired. 

Harry is survived by his loving children, Julie, Kathy, Jeannie, Mary, Kristen, and Colin.  He also leaves behind to cherish his memory 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.  Along with a host of friends and extended family.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
