Harry ""Dago"" Dauro, age 76, of Pass Christian passed away August 10, 2012 at home. He was born in Gulfport, MS on March 12, 1936 and was a graduate of Long Beach High School. After high school, Harry joined the United States Army and spent two years serving his country. He was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 568 in Gulfport for over 50 years. He was hardworking and would help anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia and Joe Dauro; and his brother, Jimmy Dauro.
Survivors include his loving and caring wife, Thelma ""Nell"" Dauro; sister, Mable Skellie; children, Jenny (Scott) Kinder, Thomas (Nancy) Dauro; Bradley Dauro, Christine Dauro, Anthony Dauro, Scott (Lisa) Walker, and Joey Walker; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 to 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd Long Beach, MS. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow with Military Honors at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
