Harry G. Coleman, age 86, a resident of Long Beach, MS passed away Thursday, December 13, 2007 in Long Beach.
Mr. Coleman had been a resident of Long Beach since 1955. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a recipient of the Bronze Star and American Defense Service Medal. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW in Long Beach, was the owner and operator of Harry's Pawn Shop, and enjoyed working, meeting people, and cooking. He was of the Methodist faith.
Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Anabel Coleman; and his daughter, Linda Gaul. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Coleman; children: Harry G. Coleman, Jr, and his wife Diane, of Louisville, KY, D.W. Robertson, and Ronald E. Robertson, and his wife Janice, all of Long Beach; sister, Elaine Wringer of Provost, UT; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
