Harry "Chip" Arthur Cloutier, Jr., 71, of Long Beach, MS passed away on February 10th, 2025, in Biloxi.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Nancy Cloutier, and his parents, Harry Arthur Cloutier, Sr., and Marjorie Cobb Cloutier.
Chip is survived by his daughters, Jaqui Cloutier (Brian Jacobs), and Julee Zornes; sisters, Anika Chevalier, Nancy Henry, Carol Mackey, and Bonnie Banks (Carl); grandchildren, Kayla, Henry, and Ian Jacobs, and Emmett and Owen Zornes, and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was born in Gardner, Massachusetts, and graduated from Stonington High School in 1971. After graduation, Chip joined the military and served 20 years of active duty as a Seabee electrician. He was also a Vietnam Veteran. During his years of service, Chip acquired numerous awards, including a Vietnam service medal, a Vietnam Campaign medal, a Bronze Star, a Navy Expeditionary medal, and numerous sharpshooter and marksman ribbons. During this time, Chip started his family and eventually settled in Long Beach.
Chip loved the outdoors and enjoyed playing with his dog, ice skating, baseball, and fishing as a child. He loved to talk and never met a stranger. In his adult years, Chip was active in search and rescue with his dogs, attending church, hunting, fishing, shooting, bowling, and watching baseball and football. He especially enjoyed watching the Redsox and Patriots. He was an active member of AA and a long-time sponsor, an NRA member, and an avid supporter of The Wounded Warrior Project.
More than anything, Chip loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his dogs. He was an honorable man with integrity, honesty and respect. He truly believed in "God, family, and country". He believed you should always practice what you preach. He was a man of dignity and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers any donations to AA or The Wounded Warrior Project would be greatly appreciated.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, Long Beach, is honored to serve the Cloutier family.
