Harry J. Britain

Harry Joseph Britain, Sr., age 77, of Bay St. Louis, died Sunday, March 15, 2009, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Britain was born and lived in Louisiana and moved to Bay St. Louis 26 years ago. He was a former employee of Bob Bros. Construction. He was an avid fisherman and a scrap collector. He also was a volunteer fireman for Bay St. Louis and was member of Bayside Community Watch Group.
Mr. Britain was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Anita Britain; and a brother, Jesse.
Survivors include his children, Steve, Ruthie, Patty, Joe, Velina, Helen, Shelly, Bonnie, and Daniel; stepchildren, Matt, Vincent, and Timmy; brothers, Howard and Homer """"Jr.""""; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln-DeLisle Road, Pass Christian, on Saturday, March 21, 2009, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 noon. Friends and family will gather at the funeral home following the service from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
