Harold Quinton Jones

Harold Quinton Jones, age 88, of Gulfport, passed away on June 8, 2012 in Gulfport.
He was born on January 20, 1924 in Altus, OK, the son of Corna D. and Ida Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Doris Aileen Jones; his sisters, Jeanette Jones and Anetha Porter; and a brother, Corna D. Jones.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Wanda Jones of Gulfport; his sons, Ted Jones (Roberta) of Saucier and Hal Jones (Betsy) of Pass Christian; a stepson, Rick Collins of Gulfport; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Richmond (Bill) of Gulfport; his grandchildren, Katie Camp (Rod) of Afghanistan, Mandy Beard (Chad) of Gulfport, Matthew Dearmon (Aimee) of Austin, TX, Amy Gomez (Julio) of London, England, Jordan Jones of New Orleans, LA, Adam Alexander of Hattiesburg, Brittany Alexander of Ellisville, Taylor Collins and Tanner Collins of Waveland; his great grandchildren, Carmen Gomez, Kaynen Beard and Kolten Beard; and a sister, Gwendolyn Gilbert of Albuquerque, NM.
Harold was the owner/operator of Harold Jones Auto Trim, Gulfport, from 1957 until his retirement in the mid 90's.
He was a Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 201 for several years. He was past commander of VFW Post 2539 and a member of Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Gulfport.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport and the staff of Odyessy Hospice for their care and compassion.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 1:15 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends from Noon until service time. Burial with military honors will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
