Harold R. Hansen, age 66 and a resident of Bay St. Louis, died on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, in Gulfport, after a brief illness.
Mr. Hansen was born in Gulfport on July 28, 1941 and was a resident of Bay St. Louis for 30 years. He was a retired drywall contractor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin F. & Ella Hansen of Gulfport, a son, Harold Steven Hansen of Bay St. Louis, and a sister, Beatrice McGreevy of Ocean Springs.
Mr. Hansen is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Peggy Eubanks Hansen of Bay St. Louis; his daughters, Karen Reeder of Bay. St. Louis and Sherri Dubuisson and her husband, Luke of Pass Christian; his daughter-in-law, Cindy Hansen of Pass Christian; four grandchildren, Brandon Morrison and Jill Morrison both of Milan, IL, Jason Hansen of Bay St. Louis, and Nicholas Hansen of Slidell, LA; four great-grandchildren, Alex Hansen, Conner Hansen, Kaitlyn Morrison, and Maddix Morrison; his sisters, Doris Spikes of Gulfport, and Betty Triola of St. Peters, MO; his brother, C.L. Hansen of Gulfport; many nieces, nephews, friends and his loving dog, Peaches. Mr. Hansen was a loving husband and father, was was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 2:00pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln-DeLisle Road in Pass Christian, where friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rotten Bayou Cemetery.
