Harold Colwell Sr.

Harold C. Colwell, age 80, of Gulfport, passed away on December 16, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dale Colwell; his mother, Irene Colwell; a daughter, Leah; and 2 sons, Craig, Jr and Allen.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lonnie Colwell; his children, Rebecca Porter, Robert Poston, and Kimberly Colwell; a brother, Richard Colwell, Sr.; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Colwell was a native of Centralia, KS and was a longtime resident of Gulfport. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and Gulf War and retired with the rank of SSgt. He received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Technology and a master’s degree in Engineering Technology Education from Kansas State University. He retired from AT&T after many years of service. He was a member of the masonic lodge and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 21, 2020, from 8 – 10 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 10 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Finley Cemetery.
