Harold John Breal, Jr, age 81, of Biloxi, passed away on August 28, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold J. Breal and Rissa Parker Breal; 2 sisters, Kay Breal Albritton and Joan Breal Perdue; his father and mother-in-law, W. Quin and Blanche Buckley Williamson; a sister-in-law, Bobbye Detwiler; and a brother-in-law, Henry “Chip” Williamson.
Mr. Breal is survived by his loving wife of 61 ½ years, Charlotte H. Breal; his 3 sons, Kenny (Toy) Breal, Jeffrey (Andrea) Breal, and Randy (Leigh) Breal; a Godson, Bobby (Maria) Underwood; a brother, John H. Breal; his grandchildren, Greyson (Hannah L.) Breal, Hannah Breal, Kelsie Breal (Tyler Fletcher), Chandler (Aleah) Breal, Abbey Breal (Ridge Murphy), Jackson Breal (Lindsey Lambert), Parker Breal, and Hayden Breal; his grand dogs, Puppers, Lambeau and Chewy, and Harvey; and other relatives and friends.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi and was a 1962 graduate of Biloxi High School where he excelled in football and was inducted into the Biloxi Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012. He also attended Perkinston Junior College and Mississippi State University on football scholarships. Mr. Breal retired from Borden Milk Company and Biloxi Public School System. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, and woodworking – especially building Adirondak chairs.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Vital Caring Health Care and Hospice.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 10 – 11:30 am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 2090 Pass Road, Biloxi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am in the church. Interment will be in Biloxi City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
