Harmon David Warden

Harmon David Warden, a beloved member of the Gulfport community and a dedicated family man, passed away on August 14, 2024 at the age of 86 in Gulfport, Mississippi. 

Born on August 27, 1937, Harmon led a life marked by deep connections with his family, a solid career, and a commitment to service. Harmon was married to his beloved wife, Leslie June Warden, for 66 years until her passing. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and support.

Harmon retired from Chattanooga Glass Company in Gulfport, MS, where he contributed his skills and dedication over many years. His work ethic and integrity left a lasting impression on those with whom he worked, and he would be remembered fondly by his colleagues. In addition to his professional life, Harmon served in the United States Air Force, an experience that shaped his values and instilled a sense of discipline that he carried throughout his life. 

Harmon was preceded in death by his wife, Leslie June Warden; his parents, Alvis and Carrie Warden; his brother, Wardell Warden; and his sisters, Dymple Bonds and Opal Bailey.

 He is survived by his children, Brenda Daniel of Seattle, WA, Robin Warden Chrisman of Gulfport, MS, David Warden (Tina) of Sumrall, MS, and Sharon Bond (Mike) of Gulfport, MS. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, who brought him great joy: Laura and Jared Daniel; Eric, Riley, and Leslie Warden Chrisman; Joshua, Brandon, and Sabrina Warden; and Michael and Peyton Bond.

A graveside service to honor Harmon David Warden will be held on August 19, 2024, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, located at 8910 Carl Legett Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503, beginning at 10:00 AM.
