Haeleigh Stamper

Haeleigh Madison Stamper, age 16 of Diamondhead, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Berry Griffith.

Haeleigh is survived by her parents, Angela and Michael Corbett; her brother, Bryce Corbett; her grandmother, Verna Ballard; her step grandmother, Kyla Griffith; her uncle, Josh (Melissa) Griffth; her cousins, Courtney Harries, Keira Griffith and Shelbie McCracking; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Haeleigh was a junior at Hancock High School where she excelled academically.  She was taking college classes as a junior which would have allowed her to graduate early. Her whole life was her friends. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and always supported them.  While she never met a stranger, she would stand up against bullying and do the right thing. She loved to paint and has many paintings that she was proud of. Her brother, Bryce, was her number one, favorite person. Her parents loved her dearly and miss her tremendously. She will always live on in their hearts. Haeleigh’s parents would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Diamond Joseph, Chelsea Yarborough, Tysen Hawkins and Arianna Galbreth for their brave, unwavering actions caring for Haeleigh this past Saturday night.

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Bayou Talla Fellowship, 18555 MS-43, Kiln, MS 39556. There will be a visitation with a viewing from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm followed by visitation with a closed casket from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
