H.C. Barlow, Jr, age 74, of Gulfport, passed away on August 12, 2008 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Coy Barlow, Sr and Gladys Vivian Barlow; and two brothers, Edward Barlow and Glenn Barlow.
Mr. Barlow is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Martha Dee Barlow; his children, Jon Christopher Barlow, Sr and his wife, Amy Elizabeth Barlow, of Garner, NC and Mark Christian Barlow and his wife, Shawn Bittner Barlow, of Pass Christian, MS; and seven grandchildren, John Christopher Barlow, Jr, Mikel Christian Barlow, Micah Sebastian Barlow, Devin Renee Byrd, Hayden Elizabeth Barlow, Abigail Christine Barlow, and Owen Christian Barlow.
A native of Laurel, MS, he attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Gulfport, where he sang in the choir. He spent many years in retail management and owned and operated Four Seasons Greenhouse. Music was his passion; through his teaching of piano, he enhanced the lives of many students. He loved to fish and was an avid member of the Gulf Coast Bridge Association.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport where friends may call from 1:00 PM until service time. Entombment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
