Gwen Brown Bryner, age 57, of the Helena community, died Friday, March 6, 2009 in Biloxi.
She was born in Natchez, MS and lived most of her life in Helena. Gwen was a 1969 graduate of Moss Point High School and later owned and operated Coast Karate Club in Moss Point. She was a talented artist and had a special love for animals.
Survivors include her loving parents, Ed and Mildred Brown, Helena, a son, Niles Allen, Hattiesburg, 3 sisters, Delores Higgins, Tuscon, AZ, Tawana Smith, Ocean Springs, and Schewida Farragut, Lucedale, and 1 brother, Dean Brown, Helena.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 10 am - 12 noon at the Helena Presbyterian Church, 10401 Saracennia Rd., Moss Point, MS 39562. The funeral service will begin at 12 noon in the church sanctuary.
Entombment will be in Crestlawn Cemetery, Ocean Springs.
