Gwendolyn Arnold, age 45, resident of D'Iberville, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2008, in Long Beach.
Ms. Arnold was a native and lifelong resident of the Coast. She worked for Father John Kelly and Msgr. James McGough at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi. She previously was employed at the Beau Rivage as a food server for several years. She was a loving mother and Granny, and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Smith, and a sister, Kyzmi """"Kay"""" Allen.
She is survived by her children, Joshua Smith and his wife, Jennifer of D'Iberville, Leslie Smith of D'Iberville, and Angela Arnold of Pass Christian; mother, June Jarred of Benson, AZ; sisters, Belinda Ryle of Long Beach, Cynthia Ladnier of Diamondhead, and Charlotte Messler of Gulfport; grandchildren, Chloe, Chloe Jane, Julia, and Bubby; many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, December 16, 2008, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Biloxi, at 11:00 a.m., where friends may visit one hour prior to services.
Memorials may be made to the Gwen Arnold Cancer Benefit at any Community Bank. A guestbook may be signed at www.riemannfamily.com.
