Guy Thompson

Guy E. Thompson, age 45, of Gulfport, passed away on July 16, 2009 in Gulfport.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Fred Thompson and Emily Thompson.
He is survived by his loving wife of twenty four years, Kim Thompson, of Gulfport; his children, James Thompson and his wife, Kasey, and their children, Kaley, Tabby, Myleigh, and James, Jr, all of Long Beach, Heather Thompson and her fiance', B.J. Tuggle, of Saucier, and Jonathan Thompson and his son, Cameron, of Gulfport; and his brother, Cary N. Thompson, of Gulfport.
A hard worker, he was employed for twenty four years at the Jack Watson Plant, Gulfport, for Mississippi Power Company. He was a member of Gateway United Methodist Church, Gulfport. He loved to work outdoors on his tractor and backhoe, while his favorite hobby was restoring and maintaining his vintage cars, especially his '79 Z-28. A good friend to all who knew him, he was a loving husband and a loving Dad.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Gateway United Methodist Church, Gulfport, where family and friends may visit from Noon until service time. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, Long Beach.
