Gregory Guy Woodcock, Sr., age 59, resident of Biloxi, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2007.
Mr. Woodcock was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast and was a devoted family man. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Guy Woodcock, Jr.; parents, Marguerite and Guy Woodcock and brother, Keith Woodcock.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jacqueline S. Woodcock of Biloxi; daughter, Julie W. McDaniel and her husband Mark of Gulfport; six grandchildren, Gregory G. Woodcock, III, Jamie J. Woodcock, Stephen S. Woodcock of Gilboa, New York, Kent A. Mitchell, J. Brooke Mitchell and Jada Cole McDaniel of Gulfport.
Visitation will be Friday, August 10, 2007 from 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at THE RIEMANN FAMILY'S Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens on Carl Leggett Road off of Cowan Lorraine Road, Gulfport.
Pallbearers will be Gregory G. Woodcock, III, Kent A. Mitchell, Mark H. McDaniel, Michael R. Switzer, Charles """"Chuck"""" Coblentz, Tommy Doucet and Willis O. Pennell.
Mr. Woodcock fought a courageous battle with cancer for over two years. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Edwin Davidson, Dr. Richard Tilley, Dr. James Doty and their staffs.
Memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
