Gloria Shanahan

Gloria Tate Shanahan passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the age of 77.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Shanahan; daughter, Tina Carr; parents, Lloyd Tate and Bonnie May Mitchell Tate; son-in-law, Bryan Williamson; two brothers and three sisters.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Mona Williamson, son, David Shanahan, Jr. (Brandi); 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Gloria was saved at an early age and remained faithful to God until her death.  We miss her dearly but know through the assurance of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that we will meet her again one day soon in heaven.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Northspoon Baptist Church, 56 Mitchell Baughman Road, Poplarville, MS 39470, from 10:00am until funeral service time at 12:00pm.  Burial will follow at Standard Sand-Hill Cemetery, MS.
