Gloria L. Haley, age 88, of Ridgeland, passed away on March 28, 2011, in Jackson, MS.
Gloria was born October 3, 1922 in New Orleans, LA. She was the second daughter born to Juliette L. Guillard and Peter J. Kaul Jr. and married Edmond M. Haley of New Orleans August 17, 1942. They shared three daughters together: Debbie Roseberry Odom of Marathon, FL, Patricia Haley Teagle of Roswell, GA, and Susie Haley Portera of Madison, MS, along with two grandsons, Todd Roseberry and Jason Aldridge both of Atlanta, GA. They had three granddaughters, Katie, Carrie and Anni Portera of Madison, MS.
They were also blessed with three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond, who died May 17, 1985. They traveled the world together with the United States Air Force and retired on the Gulf Coast in 1966. Gloria was a florist by trade and a dog lover by choice and enjoyed her many beloved friends and family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation to be held April 1, 2011 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with interment in Biloxi National Cemetery scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
The family welcomes all to Gloria's home in Ocean Springs after the burial for food, drink and to share memories.
