Mrs. Baker, a devoted mother and homemaker, went Home on Monday, January 30, 2012.
She was born on Wednesday, October 17, 1923, in Passaic, New Jersey. She graduated from St. John Cathedral High School in Paterson, New Jersey. Mrs. Baker was joined in Holy Matrimony with Henry Crine Baker at Saint Nicholas' Catholic Church in Passaic, New Jersey, on July 4th, 1947. She was employed by the United States Rubber Company, as the Purchasing Director's secretary, until becoming a mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Joseph Donnelly, Sr., and Marie Agnes (Ballard) Donnelly, her beloved husband Henry Crine Baker, her sister Eileen, brother, William, Jr., nephew, William, III, and daughter-in-law, Robin (Lundgren) Baker.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her sister, Mrs. A. Howard (Rose Marie) Vill'Neuve, son, Rev. Timothy Peter Baker, daughter, Jeanne Marie Baker, grandchildren, Kristina (Patrick) Dunn, Kenneth Wood, Christopher (Sara) Baker, and Michael Baker. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Sydney Dunn, Tracy Dunn, Rily Dunn, and Ian Wood, and many other family members and friends.
Mrs. Baker was a resident of Gautier and a parishioner at St. Mary's Catholic Church for almost four decades.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gautier with visitation beginning at 9AM, and she will have eternal rest beside her beloved husband at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs, Mississippi (together again).
