Glennis Martin

Glennis Howard Martin, age 57, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Baptist Health Hospital, Madisonville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Ollie Mae Cannon Martin; a brother, Verdel Martin; and his grandparents.

Mr. Martin is survived by his father and step-mother, Willie Martin and Clara Martin of Gulfport; 2 brothers, Christopher (Tara) Martin and Kenneth Martin, both of Biloxi; several aunts and uncles; three nieces and three nephews; and a host of beautiful relatives and friends.

He was a native of Gulfport where he was a 1982 Graduate of Gulfport High School and was a current resident of Madisonville, KY. Glennis was previously employed with Western Kentucky Teen Challenge; Gulf Coast Medical Center as a Central Supply Technician; Merchants Bank as a Mail Room Clerk; and Brewer Fence Company, PT Summer Employment. While employment with Gulf Coast Medical Center, he was very proud to be named 1997 Employee of the Year; 1993 Employee of the Month; and April 2003 Champion of the Month. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and playing golf.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, April 26, 2021, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, MS 39503.
