Glenn David Welch

Glenn David Welch, age 54, of Gulfport, passed away on February 20, 2012.
Mr. Welch was born in Meridian and was a lifelong resident of the Coast. He enjoyed working on fishing boats in the Bering Sea in the past, and loved his job as a ""yard-dog"" forklift operator at Specialty Lumber Company. He was the outstanding pitmaster at BBQ World Catering. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Syble Welch, and his brother, Acey Theo ""Butch"" Welch, Jr..
He is survived by his parents, Acey Theo Welch, Sr. and Dolline Welch of Gulfport; siblings, Ricky Allen Welch (Sandra Blackwell Welch), Terry Lee Welch (Janet Castanedo Welch), Belinda Irene Welch, James Andrew Welch; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
