Glenda Jordan Lathrop

Glenda Jordan Lathrop, 80, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Lathrop was a native of Taylorsville, MS where she graduated as the Salutatorian from Taylorsville High School. She was a very loving wife and mother and devoted her life to her family. She was a devout Christian. She retired from Coast Electric Company in Bay St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Myrtis Jordan. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Donald Lathrop, Sr. of Diamondhead; three children, Donald Lathrop, Jr. (Debra) of Charlotte, NC, Kay Fallin (Ken) of Diamondhead and Ann Lathrop of Bay St. Louis; five grandchildren, Ashlee, Tyler, Jordan, Justin and Laura; her siblings, Jeanette Hull (Rupert), Don Jordan and Roger Jordan (Mary Baron) all of Taylorsville.
Visitation will be held from 12 Noon to 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport. Tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital (www.stjude.org).
