Glenda F. Burnham age 86 a lifetime resident of the Ocean Springs community passed away on July 2, 2024, in Vancleave.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ferrel and Janie Seymour; and the love of her life, her beloved husband, Jr. Burnham;
She is survived by her 5 children, Ruben Burnham (Melinda), Sissy Burnham, Sonya Moran (Jeff), Mitzi King, and Paul Burnham; her siblings, Joyce Previto, Ennis F. Seymour (Carrol); and her grandchildren, who were so special to her heart, Kevin Burnham, Becky O’Neal (David), Eric Moran, Timothy Moran, (Brittany), Shane King and Chandler King; and her great grandchildren, Riley O’Neal, Sutton O’Neal, and Lacey Moran along with a host of numerous relatives, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
After earning her high school diploma, she later became a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years, and when she wasn’t at home taking care of her own family, she could be found taking care of others at Singing River Hospital in Ocean Springs until her retirement.
She was a member of the D’Iberville Moose Lodge. Glenda loved cross stitching, embroidery, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends.
She was a loving wife to her husband Jr., A wonderful mom to her children; the best sister anyone could ask for. She loved her family deeply and will be sadly missed by all who knew Ms. Glenda.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. funeral service at The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Bvld., in West Jackson County. Interment will follow in Seymour Cemetery.
