Glen Ray Strong, peacefully passed away at the age of 70, on June 18, 2024 in Covington, Louisiana. He was born June 25, 1953, in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi to the late Harold and Julia Strong. Glen was preceded in death by his parents. Glen is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Connie Strong; his two daughters Star Boquet and Nova Reisch (Jonathan); grandchildren Ryan Boquet, Mia Boquet, Wyatt Leahy, and Josephine Reisch.
Glen was known as a generous, light-hearted and compassionate soul. He loved the simple things in life and spending time with his precious family and two best buddies David Garcia and Ricky Geoffrey. He enjoyed cooking his favorite dishes, gardening, fishing, boating, playing golf, traveling, and scuba diving.
Glen worked in law enforcement for 21 years for the Hancock County Sheriffs Department as a Criminal Investigator, and finally as the Director of the Drug Task Force. Glen was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Germany. He was also a member of the American Legion.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family and always remembered in their hearts.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 6pm-9pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home in Waveland, MS. Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, 2:30pm at Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, MS.
