Glen Elmer Peebles, 77 passed away unexpectedly at his home in D’Iberville. He was the son of the late Katherine Peebles and Glen Elmer Peebles, Sr. and was also preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew Hawkins, Jr,; his brother-in-law, R.G. Young; his niece, Dawn Young; and his sister-in-law Susan Peebles.
He is survived by his son, Don C. Peebles of Queen City, TX; his daughters, Alison (Lucian) Butera of Ocean Springs, Angela (Shane) Hawkins of Latimer; his grandchildren, Aerial (La Ron) Brown, Gage Saucier, Amber Saucier, Zoe Saucier, Ayden Hawkins; and his six great grandchildren; his sisters, Barbara Young of Huffman, TX, Mary Katherine (Carroll) Higginbotham of Ocean Springs; his brothers, Richard L Peebles of Grantville, GA, Lloyd C. (Dawn) Peebles of Latimer, and numerous nieces and nephews relatives and friends.
After serving 8 years in the U.S. Army he went to work for Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula until his retirement. He loved fishing, hunting and enjoying time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
