Gladys Saucier Dunnaway

Gladys Saucier Dunnaway, age 86, of Saucier, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014.
Mrs. Dunnaway was born in Harrison County to Art and Spicey Bangs Saucier. She was blessed in her life to have a first marriage to James ""Jimmy"" Odem and raised a family of 8 children. After the passing of Mr. Odem, she found a second love in Clyde Dunnaway. They owned and operated several Dunnaway's Crispy Chicken restaurants and Dunnaway Restaurant Equipment Sales until they retired in 1988. She loved cooking, gardening, and traveling. She will be remembered by friends and family as a generous, loving, and independent woman who you could depend on.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and second husband; her parents; and her siblings, Elam Saucier, Curtis Saucier, Sr., Irene Saucier, and Earline Wedgeworth.
She is survived by her children, James Roger Odem, Jimmy Dale Odem, Carolyn Hillman, Joseph Paul Odem, Sr., Bobby Glenn Odem, Terry Eugene Odem, and Sharon Denise Falks; siblings, Clinton ""Pete"" Saucier, Maritta Cutrer , Donna Merle Ryen.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will follow at Wedgeworth Cemetery on Saucier-Lizana Road in Saucier.
