Gilbert Junior Estrada

Gilbert Estrada, a devoted man of his country, passed away on October 3, 2024 at the age of 96. 

His life was marked by an unwavering dedication to the ideals of service, which guided him through a remarkable military career. He served his country proudly, first in the Navy during the Korean War, and later in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, where he earned a battle star and was awarded the Commendation Medal three times. He retired as a Master Sergeant after 23 years of military service.

Gilbert was a beloved uncle, mentor, and friend to many. He will be laid to rest will full military honors at Biloxi National Cemetery at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
