Gerry Max Blaker

Gerry Max Blaker, age 67, of Long Beach, passed away on February 22, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Betty Blaker, and a son, Gerry Blaker, II.
Survivors include his wife Darlene Blaker, his children, Bruce Blaker, Amy (Jeff) Kranz, and Nicole Blaker, a sister, Penny Blaker Mitchell, 6 grandchildren, Demi Blaker, Dallas Blaker, Brody Blaker, Bailey Blaker, Taylor Blaker, and Connor Kranz, and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Blaker was a native of Terre Haute, IN and worked with his family on the farm until he moved to the coast in 1982. He served in Vietnam with the Indiana Air National Guard and after moving to the coast, he was the owner/operator of Blaker Trucking Company. He enjoyed Sprint Car racing and was an avid golfer. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and attending their activities.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, from 6 - 8 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A graveside service will be held at 10 am in Long Beach City Cemetery.
