Gerald "Jerry" Masterson

Dr. Gerald “Jerry” Sydney Masterson, 87, was born on June 20, 1933 in La Porte, IN. He had 14 brothers and sisters and was the youngest of the boys. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, pastor, and friend. Bro Jerry was called home to see his best friend Jesus and beautiful wife Hallelujah (Joyce), and his daughter, Charlene, on January 18, 2021. He is survived by his son, Jerry Masterson (Julie) of Springfield, MO; grandson, Caleb Masterson (Erin) of Florence, AL; granddaughter, Caitlin Thomas (Benjamin), of Conway, AR; and great-grandchildren, Reid, Gage, and Remi.
Bro Jerry served in the Air Force from 1951 - 1979. After that he served as a representative for Jesus until the very moment he went home to rest and rejoice.
A visitation will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, on Wednesday, January 27th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held for family at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Bro Jerry has family and friends across the world who want to celebrate his life, so there will be a virtual memorial service held at a later date. Details will be posted to Bro Jerry’s Facebook page and available from Bay Vista Baptist Church. Those interested in attending the virtual memorial also may email jerrymasterson@att.net for details.
