Gerald (Jerry) Lyons

Jerry Lyons, age 60, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020. He was a life-long resident of Biloxi and a graduate of Notre Dame High School Class of 1977. Jerry retired from Parks and Recreation Dept. with the City of Ocean Springs. His love of sports was undeniable. Jerry was involved in youth sports for many years. He coached pee wee football, umpired baseball and officiated football and basketball. He was an avid Saints and Astros fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Lyons; mother, Patricia (Patsy) Lyons and brother, Robert (Bobby) Lyons, Jr.

Jerry is survived by his father, Robert G. Lyons, Sr.; two sisters, Kathy (Kevin) Coggin and Julie (Greg) Williams; one brother, Wayne (Lisa) Lyons; one son, Timothy Lyons and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank Mary Lawson Montgomery for her love and care and support she gave to Jerry and his dad.

A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Southern Memorial Park Cemetery, Biloxi. Due to Covid-19 state mandates, outdoor participation is limited to 20 people. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Biloxi Youth Baseball.
