Gerald "Fritz" Kirkpatrick, 63 of Pass Christian, MS. passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at home. Affectionately known as Fritz, was born March 8, 1958 outside of Buffalo, NY. A private service will be held at a future date.
He was an accomplished HS swimmer and football player in Upstate NY, and went on to schooling for Automotive Marketing at Northwoods Institute in Midland, MI. He then joined the US Navy where his first career adventure brought him to the New Orleans area where he settled down after meeting Tina Vicknair. They started a family and embarked on very different career paths together. He held several jobs across the car business and the gaming industry, and ending up working for the US Post Office after relocating to Pass Christian, MS in 2001. They raised a family in the Gulf Coast Community, and rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina like many friends and family. He was an avid sports fan and die hard Saints and LSU Tigers fan, who was fulfilled after championships from both. In addition to sports talk shows, he was also a loyal supporter of Rush Limbaugh and Conservative talk-radio, but only when could not find an episode of Chicago PD and Blue Bloods to fill his time.
Fritz is survived by his spouse Tina Kirkpatrick, a son Joshua (always in our hearts), daughter Jessica (his bunny fu-fu), son Dylan (finding his path...so proud), and canine companion Barley. Brothers Dave Kirkpatrick of Chandler, AZ, and Steve Kirkpatrick of Highlands Ranch, CO.
