Gerald "Rusty" Redmond

Gerald “Rusty” Redmond, 73 of Biloxi and resided in Vancleave in Jackson County, passed away on November 25, 2023, at the Ocean Springs Hospital.  He was born on March 18, 1951, in Biloxi to Jesse Redmond & Myrtis Redmond.  He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Eldon Redmond, Jessie “Bo” Redmond, Jerry Redmond, Lavoise Redmond, George Redmond, Tommy Redmond, David Redmond-Sandford, Louis “LB” Redmond, Jimmy Redmond Rawls, and Marty Redmond; sisters, Mary “Sister” Redmond Kelley, Gloria “Dink” Redmond Potts, Brenda Redmond Cobb, Sandra Redmond Shoemaker, Sherald Redmond Rodgers, Glenda Redmond Verret, and Debbie Redmond.

Rusty was an outgoing and fun individual who always had a smile and a joke.  Rusty enjoyed one of his Busch and having a good time.  He was a very loving and caring individual with a good nature and will be missed by all who knew him.

Rusty is survived by his daughter, Renee “Rusti” Washington and the late Darrel Washington; grandchildren, Devin Washington, and Destiny Washington; siblings, Wayne Redmond, Audrey Redmond Foret, and Michael Redmond-Hungerford.  Rusty also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

Graveside Services will be held at a later date at D’Iberville Memorial Park.
