Georgia Ann Edson, 67, of Gulfport, MS died Wednesday , November 24, 2010 in Gulfport.
She worked for Harrison County School System for fifteen years, and worked for Chemfax for ten years and retired. She attended St. Ann's Catholic Church for many years. She was the most loving and caring mother and wife that anyone could have had in their lives. She loved all animals and anyone that knew her would say what a wonderful person and mother she was. My mom is on her journey to be with our Heavenly Father and many family members that are waiting with open arms...Our Guardian Angel who will watch over us from above. You will be missed by so many friends and family, more than any mother or wife could be. We love you.
She is preceded in death by her father, Multon White; mother, Angelique Althea Brown; step-mother, Margeret White; brother, Randy White; and nephew, Mark White.
She is survived by her spouse, Clarence Cullen Edson of Gulfport, MS; her children, Cullisa Edson Ritenour and husband Dennis, Elanna Edson Edge and husband Jason, and Angie Edson Ladner and husband Austin, Jr.; brother, Jack White, brother-in-law: Sam Edson; nephews: Scott White, Danny Edson; nieces: Renee Edson and Rebecca White, Donna Edson, Pam Edson, and Stacey White; grandchildren: Jessica
Edge, Ashley Edge, Sarah Ladner, Savannah Ladner, Camille Fulton; foster grandchild: Caylee Veillon; and great-grandchild: Alexa Ladner.
Friends are invited to visit at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 29, 2010 at Pentecostals of Gulf Coast in Biloxi until the Funeral Service at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Finley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for expenses to BancorpSouth, Highway 49, Gulfport to the account of Angelique A. Ladner, for the Benefit of Georgia Edson..
