Georgia Ann Bond, age 96, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016.
Born in Lyman, MS, Mrs. Bond had an entrepreneurial spirit. She owned and operated her own upholstery business, and after retirement she opened a frame shop. In her free time she enjoyed arts and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Bond; her parents, George and Odie Gill; her sons, Floyd Bond, Horace Bond, and Clinton Bond; her daughters, Delphia Fitts, and Linda Mattie; and her siblings.
Mrs. Georgia is survived by her children, Avin Bond of Tucson, AZ, Charles Bond of Clanton, AL, Barbara Prater of Waveland, MS, Kay Horne of Diamondhead, and Bonnie Ammon of Samford, FL; thirty two grandchildren; and thirty two great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport beginning at 12:00pm until the service at 1:00pm. Burial will be in Bond Cemetery.
