George Waddell

George Waddell, age 82, of Biloxi, passed away on February 3, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jule Waddell; his mother, Ara Powell Waddell; 4 brothers, James Waddell, C.J. Waddell, Pete Waddell, and Sam Waddell; and a sister, Macy Bird.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Bernice Stokes Waddell; his children, George Waddell, Jr. (Toni), Paula Rome (Sean), and Dina Boorn (Jim); his step-children, Angela Richey Alley (Tim), Lisa Richey Maultsby (Steve), and Dena Richey Bright (David); a sister, Janice Waddell Morrison; 6 grandchildren, Krystal, Emily, Matt, Chad, Brennan, and Brandilyn; 7 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Waddell was a native of Chatom, AL and a long time resident of Biloxi.  He was employed as a self employed contractor and was an active golf enthusiast, Alabama Crimson Tide fan, and he enjoyed baseball, basketball, football, and hunting.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 6, 2021, from 5-6:30 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, West Jackson County.  A memorial service will be at 6:30 pm in the chapel.
