George Rowley

George Stuart Rowley, age 93, passed away at the Biloxi VA Medical Center on December 27, 2021.

Mr. Rowley was preceded in death by his daughter; his parents, George S. and Dorothy C. Rowley of South Carolina; his siblings, Phyllis, Frank, Robert, Edward, Norman, Harry and Larry.

He is survived by his granddaughter, Erica L. Brown and grandson, Michael K. Peacock.

Mr. Rowley was a native of Florida and has been a longtime resident of Saucier, MS. He had a degree in Horticulture and served in the U.S. Navy.  He worked as a carpenter and as a truck driver, and he enjoyed reading, gardening, and dining. He gave tithes to the church and enjoyed worship. He had an amazing ability to talk to anyone. He was a proud supporter of the Republican party, and he supported the military and orphaned children. And in his own words, “Let’s blow this joint. Did you bring the dynamite?”

There will be a Graveside Service at 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 11th at Biloxi National Cemetery. A funeral procession will depart from Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi at 1:00 p.m. going to the cemetery.
