George Franklin Rogers, III, age 65, of D'Iberville, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018.
Mr. Rogers was born in Portsmouth, VA to George Franklin Jr. and Helen Marie Parker Rogers. He worked for 28 years at DuPont before retiring and purchasing the Hallmark store in D'Iberville. George also worked for the City of D'Iberville for 5 years. He loved the outdoors, landscaping his yard, and animals. He devoted his life to his family and was a great friend. He will be remembered most for his love for his wife, his daughter, and his granddaughter who affectionately knew him as Paw Paw.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Judy Marie Rogers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Georgianna Rogers; daughter, Danielle Marie Rogers; granddaughter, Kiley Blevins; sister, Nadine Marie Thurlow; mother-in-law Martha Ragus; and his nephew, Michael Parks.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, from 1-2 PM.
Graveside services will follow at 2:30 PM at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi.
