George W. Hynes, age 76 and a resident of Gulfport, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010.
Mr. Hynes was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Korean War. He was a New York City Police Officer and retired from Lockheed Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jessie Hynes; a brother; and a sister.
Survivors include his wife, Wynona Lindsay Hynes; 7 children, George, Richard, Robert, Maria, Michael, Christopher and Michelle; brother, Harry; two sisters, Pat and Kathy; his step-sons, Brian and Chad Lindsay; his beloved grandson, Brandon Lindsay; and numerous other grandchildren; great grandchildren; and numerous special friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Rd., in Gulfport.
