George Casey

George Edward Casey, age 66, of Long Beach, passed away on April 17, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bobby Casey.
Survivors include his wife, Tamra Casey; Keith (Kasey) Chappell and Brian (Celeste Randall) Chappell; a brother, John (Linda) Casey, Jr.; a sister, Sandra Ann (Joel) Knight; 5 grandchildren, Gabriel Casey Michael Chappell, Joseph Alan Chappell, Katherine Elizabeth Chappell, Sophia Marie Chappell, and Eden Young; a great-grandchild, Easton Savarese; special friends, Matt, Gae, John and Sarah Campbell and Jason and Leigh Rooney, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Mr. Casey was a retired mill wright from DuPont after 25 years of service. He was a faithful member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and was a member of the Coast Watchers Jeep Club and the Southern Star Lodge #500.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 pm Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd., Long Beach. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 pm in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul Pharmacy.
