George Anderson

George "Andy" Allen Anderson, age 59 of Saucier, passed away at Singing River Hospital of Gulfport on July 17, 2021. He passed peacefully with his family at his side.

Born November 20, 1961 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Donald and Kathleen Anderson née Good. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1979 as an Electrician, advancing to Staff Sgt E-6. He then served with the Mississippi National Guard from 1991-2000. After serving in multiple countries and many bases stateside, he settled down along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He married his amazing wife, Sanida "Sunny", February 14, 1985, to which he also gained 2 bonus children, James Forbes and Jennifer Forbes-Dunaway (Amanda).

He worked as Project Manager for Bruce's Electric Company for 28 years. Bruce, Barbara and his crew were more than just his employer and co-workers, they were family.

Survivors include his siblings, Terry (Debbie), Kathy(Mike), Etta (Bill), Attila (Joy) and Oliver (Beth); his 3 grandchildren, Jamie (Josue), LJ, Jordin; his 2 great grandchildren, Jaiden and Jasmine; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life honoring him will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 24, 2021 RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503, with a visitation from 9:00 AM until the service.
