Genevieve Ruth Delorez Davilman

Genevieve “Ruth” Delorez Davilman, age 90, of Gulfport passed away July 9, 2024. She was born on December 8, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late James and Edna Grace Simms. She was retired from the Unites States Marine Core and was a member of the American Legion, Alief, TX. She loved to play Bingo, Keno and the casino! She also loved bird watching and the zoo.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Louis Davilman, daughter, Elizabeth A. Deily and son, Brian D. Davilman.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen E. Stant; grandchildren, Kristen Speaks, Rachel Speaks, Timothy Ash, Walton Wash, Jamie Davilman, Dustin Davilman, Brian Davilman, Jr., David Davilman, and Jennifer Ojeda; great grandchildren, Cameron Speaks, Tyler Tucker, Tegan Tucker, Caitlin Speaks, Caleb Speaks, and numerous other; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Michael Casey and staff as well as the staff and administration of Ochsner Northshore for their dedicated treatment.
