Mrs. Martha Geneva ""Ginny"" Webb Simmons, age 93, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2010.
Mrs. Simmons was born in Pike Co. to William and Courtney Jones Webb. She retired after 35 years with Sterling Drug Co. on 25th Avenue, Gulfport. Her second home was Kenwood Baptist Church, and she will be missed most for her endless love and compassion for others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Simmons, and her parents.
She is survived by her children, Jerry Simmons (Retha) and Sonya Hare (Bob); brother, Otis Webb and family; grandchildren, Beau Stewart (Michelle), Joy Hollar (Jamie), and Chrystal Simmons; great grandchildren, Haley, Autumn, Grace, and Macie; and niece, Susan Grimsley (Adam).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, where friends may call from 11-1 p.m.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will follow at Southern Memorial Park, Biloxi.
