Geneva Fetrow

Geneva Nelson Fetrow was born in Utica, Nebraska, on June 25, 1919, and passed away April 14, 2017. Her parents were Mathias and Florence Nelson.
Genevea lived in Nebraska, Maryland, and Florida. She served as an executive secretary to the Treasurer of Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida, for 30 years. At 70, she retired to Ocean Springs, MS, to live with her youngest daughter, Pam. She was a woman of many talents, especially needle work and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mathias and Florence Nelson; and her sister, Lois Nelson.
She is survived by her sister, Miriam Nelson Williams of Houston, TX; her daughters, Claudia Fetrow Whitmore (Wayne) of Huntsville, AL, Pamela Fetrow McElroy (Randy) of Ocean Springs, MS; her grandchildren, Christine Whitmore of Nashville, TN, Wade Whitmore (Kellie) of Huntsville, AL, Karen McElroy Ducharme of Ocean Springs, MS, David McElroy (Heather) of Ocean Springs, MS; and six great grandchildren, Conner McElroy, Leigh Ducharme, Beau Ducharme, Lacey Ducharme, Raven Whitmore, and Jessica Whitmore.
She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. Memorials contributions may be made to the donor's choice or the Human Society of Saucier, MS.
