Gayle L Cuevas

Gayle L Cuevas, age 84, of Long Beach, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday May 1, 2024.  He was born April 4, 1940, in Catahoula, Mississippi to Curtis J and Luvenia (Dedeaux) Cuevas.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Rayburn Cuevas, a sister Carol Myers, and a grandson Robert Gayle Cuevas.  Gayle enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting, as well as listening and playing music. 

He leaves his cherished memories to his loving wife of 66 years Brenda Cuevas: sons Kevin Cuevas (Karen) and Christopher Cuevas (Prissy); daughter Laura Cuevas Powell (Llewellyn); brothers Murray Cuevas and Danny Cuevas (Donna); sister June Oberg; sister-in-law Theresa Cuevas; grandchildren Katie Cuevas, Sarah Johnston (Brandon), Bridget Ladner (Wesley), Kailey Cuevas Joles (Dallas), Adam Holland (Ashely), Kimberly Holland Ables (Justin), and Megan Cuevas; great grandchildren Ethan Johnston, Maddie Johnston, Conner Munn, Emmy Cuevas, Ella Cuevas, Ashlynn Ladner, Kamron Ladner, Adaley Holland, Colt Holland, Lathan Broadhead, Kayson Jay, Aubri Ables, Hadli Ables, Lynli Ables, Braxton Joles, and Wesley Joles.  

The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 am Monday May 6, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, MS. 39560.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Allen Cemetery in Long Beach, MS.
