Gayle Holcomb Bourdin

Gayle Holcomb Bourdin, 69, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at her home in Long Beach surrounded by her family and friends.
Gayle was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Davis Holcomb, Sr. and Blanche Fournier Holcomb; and her husband, Leonard Charles Bourdin, Sr.
Survivors include her sons, Leonard Charles ""Chuck"" Bourdin, Jr. of Gulfport and Keith Bourdin (Susan) of Ocean Springs; one daughter, Wendy Bourdin of Madison, MS; ten grandchildren, Taylor Bourdin Ladner (Nick), Payton Bourdin, Lexi and Gavin Bosarge, Tyler and Cory Hayes, Isabella Bourdin, Sarah Davis, Jacob and Grace Baker; two great-grandchildren, Bryson Ladner and Kyler Hayes; two brothers, Fred Holcomb, Sr. (Shelby) of Ocean Springs and Kenneth Charles Holcomb of White Hall, AR; and many nieces and nephews.
Gayle was a resident of Long Beach and graduated from Long Beach High School in 1963. She was a homemaker and attended Faith Assembly of God, Kiln, MS and First Baptist Church, Long Beach, MS where she was involved in the Seekers Sunday School Class.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She spent her life supporting her children, grandchildren and family as they participated in sports, church and school events. Her happiest times included travel and visiting with family and friends.
The family expresses their sincere thanks to Dr. Finan and staff at the USA Mitchell Cancer Institute in Mobile and to Notre Dame Hospice. Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Assembly of God, Kiln, MS or to the Humane Society of South MS.
Visitation will be held from 10am to 12 Noon on Monday, January 12, 2015 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, with the Funeral Service beginning at 12 Noon. Committal services will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, Long Beach.
