Gail Elizabeth Dubuisson May, age 74, of Saucier, Mississippi, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, August 23, 2024, while in her home and under the care of Vital Caring Hospice. The daughter of Roy C. and Edna Wenger Dubuisson, Gail was born on August 12, 1950, in Gulfport, Mississippi.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Edna Dubuisson; and her daughter-in-law, Grazy Snowden.
Gail is survived by her husband of 41 years, David May; her son, Scott Snowden; her granddaughter, Sarah Snowden; her brother, Fred (Wanda) Dubuisson; her sisters, Linda (Jim) Byrd and Laura (Clint) Morrison; her nephew and niece, Russell (Jessica) Dubuisson and Lorraine (Josh Hill) Dubuisson; and her grandnieces, Emma and Fiona Hill, and Sophia Dubuisson. She is also leaving behind a treasure trove of cherished sisters and brothers-in-law and dear friends.
As she came to terms with her ovarian cancer diagnosis and prognosis, Gail’s heartfelt wish was for every one of her loved ones and friends left behind at her passing, to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and join her in Heaven.
A graduate of Harrison Central High School and a student at Jefferson Davis Community College, Gail served as a freelance court reporter until her retirement. A lifelong member of New Hope Baptist Church, she served for many years on the bereavement and hospitality committees and as Administrative Assistant to three different New Hope pastors for several years. Gail enjoyed active participation at the Saucier Senior Center, where she volunteered serving noon meals to her fellow seniors.
Gail is home now with Jesus, free of cancer, pain, suffering and sin. She is more alive at this moment than she ever was here on Earth. We celebrate with our Heavenly Father and His Angels her arrival in Heaven.
