Gail Hardy

July 7, 1941 — May 26, 2019

Gail Hardy, age 77 passed away in death on Sunday morning, May 26, 2019, with her daughters by her side.
She was born, July 7, 1941 in Fernandina Beach FL, to the late Gilbert P. and Henrietta Smith of Moss Point. She resided in Long Beach, and formerly, Panama City Beach, FL.
Gail is survived by her three children, Sharon (Mike) Mulligan of Long Beach, Jane Hardy of Gulfport, and Richard (Julie) Hardy of Colorado Springs, CO.
She leaves behind a legacy of 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Gail leaves behind two sisters, Mary Waller of Eureka, Montana, and Blanche Webb of Panama City Beach FL, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Gail was a kind, loving, generous mother, and was very caring and compassionate person to all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and loved playing with her grandchildren. Gail will be remembered as a "social butterfly" who loved to go out to dinner, or play a competitive round of cards with friends.  She had an elegant and always graceful demeanor where ever she was. In her younger years, she was an avid tennis player in Pascagoula, enjoyed playing the piano and clarinet.  In her high school years in Moss Point, she was a majorette, and Magnolia Queen.
But foremost, Gail will be remembered as a faithful witness to her loving God, Jehovah.  Her devotion and true joy in life was helping and teaching ones in her community about the Bible, and the loving hope set forth in the scriptures of the coming resurrection for all who have passed away in death, and will be raised back to life by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the foretold Paradise on earth. (John 5:28,29, Revelation 20:12.13) Her hope was sure up to her passing.
We will miss you Mom, but for only a short while you are resting in God's loving care and memory.
A memorial service will be at 11 am Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 21456 Daugherty Road, Long Beach, MS 39560.
