Mrs. Gabriele Freund Sullivan, age 82, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011.
Mrs. Sullivan was born in Stuttgart, Germany to Oscar and Irmgard Kassner Freund. She traveled the world with her husband, Thomas Joseph Sullivan, during his military career, and after his retirement, made their home in Gulfport. She enjoyed spending time gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas; brother, Hermann Freund; sisters, Brigitte Freund and Baerbel Freund.
She is survived by her nephew, Arnim Freund of Germany and niece, Juliane Wallner of Germany; sister-in-law, Fran Zoldos; and friend, Frankie Petty of Gulfport.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Biloxi National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
